The hotel's position was stunning and great, just off the Lakes and Berwick, the museums and forts on Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding area. The food was outstanding with a huge variety of alternatives.

The staff were lovely and good and the location was beautiful to Castles in the area. The room was well presented and lovely, complete with amazing view, good facilities and patio.

Beautiful and marvellous location, just walking distance from everywhere. Amicable and very friendly staff with great local knowledge. Spotless rooms with patio, and good restaurant.

All in all, it was fabulous base for travelling to Hexham. Liked how the exceptionally clean room with patio was arranged when we arrived.

There were immaculately clean bathroom and impeccably clean and beautiful room. It overlooked garden and had an exceptionally comfortable bed.

The location was beautiful and marvellous - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was amicable and very friendly, they were always available. The room was spotless with with patio and amazing view plus a heater, had good night sleep.

The time I spent there was brilliant. The room I stayed in was perfectly clean and beautiful with patio as well as amazing view. The location was stunning and marvellous, near to a stream that Nicole has cleared, the Lakes and the museums and forts on Hadrian's Wall and easily accessible. Plus, it was about 15 minutes' drive to Museum of Classic Sci-Fi.

Superb breakfast and comfortable base with excellent hosts for visiting museums and forts on Hadrian's Wall. Beautiful walks and coffee shops nearby. Private entrance and deck with stunning valley views. Quiet and well-equipped apartment with TV and Wi-Fi. Impressive overall experience!
